Welcome to the Old Shirburnian Society Website

Thank you for visiting the OSS website. Can I especially welcome our newest members, the 2007 leavers? I hope that they will enjoy all the benefits that the OSS has to offer but especially the facility to keep in touch with their contemporaries. One of the most gratifying aspects of working for the OSS in recent years has been the increased involvement of younger OS, often arranging get-togethers themselves, which always seem to be well attended.

450 OS and their guests attended OS day and even the weather doing its worst could not put a damper on a successful day. Whilst the School invite a ten-year age group to OS day as their guests, may I emphasise that it is a day where all OS, together with their friends and family, are most welcome.

Do please browse around the website and especially the 'Diary of Events' which will be regularly updated. We try to arrange events that will cover a broad spectrum of interests and do hope that there will be some that interest you. Do come along - a warm welcome is a certainty!
